Meet Dr. Karnilow
Dr. Aaron Karnilow is a former Director of the Department of Rehabilitation Psychology at one of the largest hospitals in the US. He currently has staff privileges at Northside Hospital in Atlanta and Northside Hospital in Forsyth, serving the community as an affiliate independent Professional Psychologist. Dr. Karnilow is Board Certified in Clinical Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology, and a fellow of the American Academy of Clinical Psychology.
Board Certification
In psychology, just as in medicine, Board Certification signifies an advanced level of competence, indicating a standard of practice appreciably higher than that of state licensure. Whether you need a family medicine doctor or an oncologist, you want to be sure that you get the best services that you can get, so you look to see whether your doctor is Board Certified. It is the same with your Clinical Psychologist. Whether you need general help or a specialist, Board Certification gives you the assurance of getting competent help.
Psychotherapy is highly individualized. Reasonable achievable goals, which of course can be modified as therapy progresses, are agreed upon early in therapy. There is a one time initial consultation fee of $200. Fifty minute psychotherapy sessions are $150, and there is a 24 hour cancellation policy.

Dr. Karnilow's office is conveniently located in the Northside/Alpharetta Medical Campus (Off Exit 10 on Route 400) in Alpharetta, Ga., and easily accessible from Alpharetta, Cumming, Johns Creek, Milton, Roswell, Sandy Springs, Windward and the Atlanta area.
